Obituary for Lorraine F. Fouquette

On April 29th 2016 Lorraine (Rioux) Fouquette was called home to our Lord and Savior while surrounded by her loved ones. Known to some as "the sandwich lady" from her many years of service to the Windsor Locks Schools' lunch lines and simply amazing to all. She leaves her son Michel Fouquette and his husband Ming-Jer Lee, daughters, Julie Dingman and her husband Robert, and Diane DuBois, grandson Jason DuBois and his wife Irene Heieman-DuBois, great-granddaughter, Samantha DuBois, brother Roland Rioux, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who have been touched by her kind heart. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie (Levesque) Rioux, brothers, Normand Rioux, Henry Rioux, and Robert Rioux, and her loving husband Normand Fouquette. Our beautiful angel on earth now graces the heavens, making them that much brighter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her love and kindness and we pray that she finds solace in reuniting with her "Sunshine." Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT (Please meet at church). Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial donations in Lorraine's memory can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 Pearl Street, #1432, Hartford, CT 06103.
