Micheline "Mickey" (Scavotto) Maylott, 87, of Cape Coral, FL and longtime resident of Enfield passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Cape Coral, FL with her family by her side. She was born April 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles and Lena Scavotto. Mickey was the loving wife of the late Russell A. Maylott. She was raised in Thompsonville, CT and lived in Enfield, CT most of her life. Like her mother, she was a self-employed seamstress. While in Enfield, she was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church and a past member of the Enfield Emblem Club. She retired to Cape Coral, FL. She leaves behind her 6 children, Linda Kulas of Venice, FL, Richard Maylott and his wife Lynne of Cape Coral, FL, Donald Maylott of Peru, Indiana, Lorraine Damiata and her husband John of Farmington, CT, Russell C. Maylott and his wife Lori of Enfield, CT, and David Maylott and his wife Caroline of Littleton, MA. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Charles Scavotto and his wife Diane of Enfield, CT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lenore Tangocci of Westfield, MA. A celebration of Mickey's life will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 11 am at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Enfield, CT. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11am. Burial will follow in Enfield Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either: Fisher Center For Alzheimer's Research Foundation at www.alzinfo.org or Hope Healthcare Services at www.hopehospice.org.
