Mavis H. Hartung (Hess), 99, longtime resident of Enfield, CT, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born on October 16, 1918 in Springfield, MA, the loving daughter of the late Amiel and Mildred (Giacionia) Hess. She retired to Daytona Beach, FL after many years as an executive secretary for Debell and Richardson in Enfield, CT. In addition to her parents, Mavis is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick M. Hartung, Sr. Mavis is survived by four children, Frederick M. Hartung, Jr of Feeding Hills, MA, Jeffrey Hartung of Georgia, Mayfred Buonaducci of Florida and Jonathan Hartung of Agawam, MA; her life was blessed with seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held privately at a later date.
