Obituary for Marlene Pearson Holden

Marlene Pearson Holden
Marlene (Pearson) Holden, 81, of East Windsor, CT entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Touchpoints at Chestnut. Marlene was born October 14, 1936, in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Burgess) Pearson. Marlene moved to Enfield in 1963 and was a parishioner of Holy Family Church. After her children were grown she took a job as a Lunch Aide working at the Parkman School in Enfield which she thoroughly enjoyed. Marlene cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and her four legged pal, Cherry. She is survived by a husband, Peter Holden of New York and three children, Donald Holden of Enfield, Therese Kreon and husband, Larry of East Windsor, and Margaret Holden and husband, David Perrico of Newport Beach, CA; three grandchildren, Arthur Yeske, Dylan Holden and Elli Prinz; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Bob Pearson and wife, Vivian of Fargo, ND; a former daughter-in-law, Patricia B. Holden and numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan E. Holden and a brother, Donald Pearson. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marlene will be celebrated on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10 am Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Center for Relationship Abuse Awareness” or “CRAA”,555 Bryant St. #272, Palo Alto, CA 94301.
