Dorothy V.  Dombrowski
Dorothy (Osmanski) “Dottie” Dombrowski, born February 4, 1931, died Tuesday (March 20, 2018) at her residence in Seabury Meadows, Bloomfield, CT. Dorothy graduated as Valedictorian from Classical High School in Providence, RI, and became a devoted wife and mother. She later worked as a Realtor/Broker for several realty organizations. She enjoyed her last position at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT until her retirement after 17 years of service in 2003. Dorothy, beloved wife and mother was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Edward W. Dombrowski of Windsor Locks. She leaves her children, Donna Sadosky of Suffield, CT, Diane DiCicco and her late husband Tony of Wethersfield, CT, Robert Dombrowski and his partner Scott Susla of Norwalk, CT, Edward Dombrowski and his wife Denise of Clinton, CT, and Stephen Dombrowski and his spouse Michael Merrigan of Bloomfield, CT. She also leaves her grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Alex and wife Nicole, Nicholas DiCicco, Matthew and fiancée Jaclyn Czerniak, Amy Dombrowski, Beth and husband Gary Belisle, and newest arrival great-grandson Aiden DiCicco. She leaves her dear sister-in-law and best friends Frances and husband Peter Kulas of Suffield, CT and their family, who were very close for over 67 years. She is survived by her sister, Florence Howard of Providence, RI, and several loving family and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be held on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 9:30 am to 11am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home at 11 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary Church at 11:30 am. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
