Beatrice M. (Fraser) Mellor, 81, of Enfeld, CT beloved wife of the late Robert M. Mellor, spread her wings and peacefully left this earth on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital, where she previously worked for over 30 years in the maternity ward as a nurse’s assistant. Beatrice was born May 30, 1935, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Alcide and Annette (Levasseur) Fraser. She had a beautiful spirit and a heartwarming smile to match. She got to meet her first great-grandchild and was able to be a part of her granddaughter’s wedding. She loved spending time with her family, always keeping old traditions around. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Sally DeJesus and her husband, Ivan of Windsor Locks; three grandchildren, Hope Gove and her husband, Joshua, Christopher and Nathan DeJesus and a great-grandson, Ryder. She is also survived by two brothers, Normand Fraser and his wife, Jeannine and Jean “John” Fraser and his wife, Joanne Fraser; her sister, Therese Lanini and her husband, Timothy; a sister-in-law, Anita Fraser and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Raymond Fraser. There are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately.
