Dorothy A. (Cowels) Lehnow, RN, 102, of East Windsor formerly of East Hartford left peacefully to join her grandson, Richie Doiron, Jr. on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Bickford Health Care Center in Windsor Locks. Dorothy was born the daughter of the late Harry Cowles of Glover, VT and Ella Maude (Harriman) Cowles of Craftsbury, VT. She leaves two daughters, Gail Bielik and her husband, Gary of East Windsor and Marcia Braae and her husband, John of Las Vegas, NV; two granddaughters, Danielle Ball and her husband, Brian of Sutton, VT and Wendy Amerie and her husband, Abe of Livermore, CA. Dorothy also leaves three great-granddaughters, Jordan and Lexa Ball and Isabella Amerie and a special friend, Mary Decker. Dorothy loved her pets and spending time at Crystal Lake in Barton, VT. The family would like to thank the caring people at Bickford Health Care for their exceptional care. There are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
