Barbara Ann (Slocomb) Morello, 84, of Windsor Locks and loving wife of Michael G. Morello, Sr. entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born October 29, 1932, in Springfield, MA the daughter of the late Charles H. and Agnes (Connor) Slocomb. Barbara retired from the Town of Windsor Locks as an Administrative Assistant to the First Selectman after several years and previously worked as the Manager of the Windsor Locks High School Cafeteria. Barbara was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary Church. She was proud of her town and was civically involved in her community for many years. In addition to her husband to whom she was married 63 years, she is also survived by their three sons, Michael Morello of Windsor Locks, Tim Morello and his wife, Nancy of Somers and Bill Morello and his wife, Viennie of Windsor Locks and her beloved grandson, Anthony Morello. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will gather on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 9 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 105 Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
