Therese R. "Terry"  Loubier (Tardiff)
Therese R. Loubier, (88), of Suffield, beloved wife of Gerard Loubier for 67 years, entered into eternal peace Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Suffield House. The daughter of the late John and Alice (Vear) Tardiff. Terry was born and raised in the great state of Maine. She moved to Enfield in 1955 where she raised her family and was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church. She and her family were residents of Somers from 1968 to 1991. She, and Gerard moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL in 1991 to enjoy the warm weather and outdoor activities. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Bernard Loubier and his partner Jean Walden of New London, CT, Thomas Loubier and his wife Nancy of Somers, Michele Dubish and her husband Keith of Enfield; two sisters, Dollis Bizier and her husband Reginald of Vassalboro, ME, Lillian Quirion and her husband Raymond of Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, Bernie Loubier and his wife Wendy, Matt Loubier and his wife Tracey, Dan Loubier and his wife Jess, Tommy Loubier and his wife Michelle, and Brian Loubier and his wife Claire; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Yvette Roy and her husband Romeo. Terry's family would like to thank the staff of Suffield House for the loving care she received. Visitation hours for both Therese and Gerard will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday June 8, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Family and friends may gather at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Leete-Stevens for a procession to St. Bernard Church in Enfield for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for both Gerald and Therese.
