Michael W.  Chace
Michael W. Chace, 33, of Enfield, CT passed away unexpectedly while boating, which he loved, on June 8, 2017. Michael was born April 16, 1984, in Harford CT the son of Donald and Sharon (Trommer) Chace of Enfield. Michael a lifelong resident of Enfield attended local schools and was a graduate of Fermi High School Class of 2002. He was currently employed at the Longhorn Restaurant in Enfield as a chef. Michael was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Enfield. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Suffield Sportsmen's Association. Michael also enjoyed gardening and riding his motorcycle. He was known as a "Jack of all trades" and could fix anything. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his beloved son, Zebadiah Chace; a brother, Timothy Chace and his wife, Erica of Sunrise, FL; two sisters, Valerie Cooper and her husband, Bruce of Blandford, MA and Diane Chace of Newington, CT; a niece Alexis Cooper and nephew, Jake Cooper and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Herman and Margaret (Dush) Trommer of Newington, CT and paternal grandparents Ernest and Beatrice (Waterman) Chace of Newington, CT. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service for Michael will be celebrated on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 11:30 am at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 20 North St.,Enfield. (Please meet at the church). Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michael W.
