Emma "Gram"  Hrichak (Keough)
Emma "Gram" Hrichak, 97, of Enfield, widow of Paul Hrichak, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at The Suffield House. She was born December 8, 1920 in Lyman, NH, the daughter of the late Harold and Daisy (MacDonald) Keough. She was a resident of Enfield, CT since 1967. Emma retired in 1984 after being employed for 19 years as a sales representative with Reliance Co. Residing at St. Joseph's Residence, Emma was also a longtime volunteer for the Little Sisters of the Poor for many years. She was actively involved and spearheaded many fundraisers and activities at St. Joseph's Residence. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as taking trips to the casino. In addition, her other enjoyments were butter pecan and coffee ice cream, and lottery tickets that her son-in-law, Dan, supplied her on a daily basis, along with any other special items she requested.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Malone and her husband, Dan of Enfield, CT; a son, William "Bill" Wilkins and his wife, Marjorie of Littleton, NH formerly of Enfield; six grandchildren, William Moore, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Denver, CO, Michael Moore of Denver, CO, Stephen Moore and his wife, Nancy of Denver, CO, Stacy Moore Sperrazza of Enfield, CT, Timothy Wilkins and his wife, Dawn of Old Saybrook, CT, and Michael Wilkins of Lisbon, NH; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Moore and his wife, Kate of Denver, CO, Anthony Sperrazza of Denver, CO, TJ Sperrazza of Enfield, CT, and Josh Wilkins of Enfield, CT; a brother, Howard Keough and his wife, Barbara of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Sias of New Hampshire. She also leaves many extended family. Besides her husband, Paul, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Keough and Arthur Sias; a sister, Elizabeth Sias; a grandson, William "Billy" Moore III; and a son-in-law, William "Bill" Moore, Sr.
Friends and Family may gather for visitation hours on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Residence, 1365 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the St. Joseph's Residence Chapel. Interment is private.
