Taken too soon, Madison Elizabeth Brunelle, age 18, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017.
Maddie was born on September 18, 1998 in Hartford, CT, and lived most of her life in Windsor Locks. She was a 2016 graduate of Windsor Locks High School.
Maddie’s lively sense of humor and generous spirit will be missed by her mother, Amy Fluckiger Brunelle and fiancé, Bob Cappiello, of Windsor Locks and her father, Donald Brunelle and fiancé, Monique Looney, of Tolland, CT.
Maddie was a beloved big sister to Eliott, Addy and Cassie, who will hold her within their hearts and memories. She shared close bonds with her grandparents, Wendi and Dennis Fluckiger of Vero Beach, FL, Francine and George Holland of Easthampton, MA and Donald Brunelle of Burlington, CT.
Maddie also leaves behind many cherished relatives and friends, including her aunts and uncles, Karly, Sarah, Shawn, Beth, Drew, Lisa, Ian, Andrea, Kristy; and her cousins, Taylor, Braydon, Abigail, Alan, Luke, Mary and Megan. She was predeceased by her step-grandfather, Terry Moore.
Although she struggled deeply in recent months, we will remember her as she was in her sunnier days - a smart, independent, beautiful, free-spirited person. We were fortunate she shared her tremendous artistic and musical talents with us through her drawings and the bass guitar.
Her family will receive visitors to celebrate Maddie’s life on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street in Windsor Locks, CT. A private burial is planned.
