Elizabeth A. (Sapsuzian) Shovak, 81, of Windsor Locks, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Mae Sapsuzian, she was raised in Windsor Locks and also lived in Hartford, West Hartford and Enfield before moving to Southwick in 2004. Elizabeth was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and the UConn Huskies. She was a collector of sheep figurines and was fond of country music and Christmas time. She leaves three children, Gwen M. Kopf and her fiancé, David Falbo of Granby, CT, James J. Shovak and his spouse, Karen Shovak of Southwick, Daniel F. Shovak and his spouse, Matthew Pulie of Franklin, MA, and five grandchildren, Jeffrey Shovak, Justin Shovak, Sabrina Kopf, Stephen Kopf, and James Shovak, Jr. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11am at the WINDSOR LOCKS FUNERAL HOME, 441 Spring Street followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
