Charles W. "Chuck" Weatherbee Jr., 66, of Enfield, beloved husband of Darlene (Dupree) Weatherbee for 43 years, passed away Friday November 10, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Born and raised in Lynn, MA, Chuck was the son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Leila (Cooper) Weatherbee. He was a resident of the Enfield community for 30 years where he and Darlene raised their family. He was formerly employed for H.P. Hood for 26 years and was currently employed by the Rogers Corp. for nine years as a Safety Engineer. Chuck was active and devoted in his faith. He was a member of the Somers Baptist Church where he served as a Elder/Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Moderator, Treasurer, and friend. His love and dedication to his family was constant and immeasurable. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and playing guitar. Besides his wife Darlene, Chuck is survived by two daughters, Rebekah Weatherbee Tidd and her husband Marc of Brunswick, ME, and Dr. Jessica L. Weatherbee of Boston, MA; two grandchildren, Josiah Wentworth Tidd and Lydia Grace Tidd. He also leaves his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Eleanor Dupree of Plattsburgh, NY, brothers-in-law Dan Dupree and Deborah, David Dupree and Nancy, sister-in-law Denise Dupree McSweeny and John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at the Somers Baptist Church, 40 Battle St., Somers, CT. Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, NH. Donations in Chuck's memory may be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
