Condolence: Jeff, Corrine and family, I am so very sorry to hear of the tragic loss of another young life. I am seeing many people whom I have known over the years lose a loved one to this scourge. You may not have know this but I lived around the corner from you for over 15 years until moving to PA in 2005. I can remember seeing what an energetic and fun young man Kevin was when ever I would go for a run in the neighborhood. All of you are in my prayers.

Condolence From: John and Laura Lally
Condolence: Jeff and Family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your son, Kevin. You may remember us. I married Laura Proteau, sister of Diana Proteau. We lost our son Tim to a heroin overdose in January of 2016. He was the same age as Kevin. We know how heart breaking this is. I am sure that Kevin was a good man, that struggled with a horrible disease. We applaud your courage in stating his struggle with addiction in the obituary. We did so for our son as well. There is no need for shame or embarasment. Be proud of Kevin and let no one judge him or his parents. We have started a non profit organization called "Today I Matter", in order to educate the public about this disease
If there is any way we can be of support you can find us on line at todayimatter.org. Our thoughts are with your family at this most trying time. Take care, John and Laura Lally

Condolence From: Hope Rice
Condolence: I, too, lost a son from addiction 26 years ago at the age of 31. I know the pain you are feeling. I am encouraged that by your honesty and transparency you are helping others who have had the same nightmare. Hopefully, someday the stigma will be removed and we can deal with the disease without having to chip through the layers of "pride and shame". God Bless You.
