Obituary for Donald C. Quagliaroli

Donald C.  Quagliaroli
Donald C. "Don" Quagliaroli, 84, of Windsor Locks loving husband of Susan (Cutler) Quagliaroli entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at home with his family by his side. Don was born April 6, 1933, in Hartford, CT the son of the late Joseph and Inez (Rupert) Quagliaroli. Don proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the former Connecticut Light & Power as a supervisor after 38 years of service. Don was a parishioner of St. Mary Church and a life member of the Smalley Brothers V.F.W. Post 6123 where he previously served at Past Commander and co-founded “Sports Night”. In addition to his wife, Susan to whom he was married 66 years, he is also survived by three sons, Gary M. Quagliaroli and his wife, Alice, Brian J. Quagliaroli and his wife, Brenda, and Donald H. Quagliaroli and his wife, Lisa all of Windsor Locks; eight grandchildren, Michael Quagliaroli and his wife, Krystal, and their son, Xavier, Timothy Quagliaroli and his wife, Kristen, Sara Quagliaroli and her husband, Colin Van Alstine, Joshua Quagliaroli and his wife, Jessica, Brian L. Quagliaroli, Jessica Quagliaroli and her fiancé, Dan Samson, Eric Quagliaroli and Angela Quagliaroli; two great grandchildren, Mila and Ellie; his brother, Harold Quagliaroli of Windsor Locks and several nieces and nephews. Don’s family would like to thank neighbor Linda Palmer, the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance and the Windsor Locks Police Department for their compassionate care. Don was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy "Dot" Sullivan. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 9 am to 11 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service for Don will be celebrated at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Don may be made to the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 105 Windsor Locks, CT 06096 or to the Smalley Brothers V.F.W.
