Adrian J. Bilodeau, 87, of Homestead, FL, entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was born in Sharon, CT on October 26, 1930, the son of the late Adrien and Caroline (Bollea) Bilodeau. He grew up in Farmington and was a graduate from Farmington High School. At 18, Adrian joined the Navy and proudly served our country. He married Virginia (Ierna) Bilodeau and made his home with her in Windsor Locks, CT. Adrian was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary Church, and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus in Windsor Locks. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus bowling league for over 30 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and enjoyed his career repairing engines. Adrian was able to help people fix anything; neighbors and friends knew he was the guy to call if they needed anything worked on. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Adrian is survived by his 2nd wife of 19 years, Judith Bilodeau of Homestead, FL, whom he enjoyed traveling with and visited every state in the country; his three children, Karen Cleary and her husband, William of Broad Brook, CT, Michael Bilodeau and his wife, Cindy of East Granby, CT, and Larry Bilodeau and his wife, Lori of Enfield, CT; two sisters, Caroline Karosi, and Josephine Fragione and her husband, Ignatius; six grandchildren, Justin, Shaun, Cara, Jason, Brittney, and Luke; and five beloved great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 43 years, Virginia (Ierna) Bilodeau, who predeceased him in 1997, Adrian is predeceased by a brother, Delphis Bilodeau. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation hours on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 8:00-9:30 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
