Condolences

Condolence From: Paul Marks
Condolence: Condolences on the loss of a great lady. During her years as office manager for the Enfield Bureau of The Hartford Courant, Judy offered a warmth and welcoming spirit to all, and never failed to bake an elegant cake for every staff member's birthday. I once told her that those cakes were her "ministry" in life, and she chuckled and kind of blushed. But we all gratefully received them as a conduit for her love and caring.

Condolence: I met Judy in 1990 when I went to work at the Hartford Courant as a reporter. We became fast friends. I was only there a year but Judy turned out to be a lifelong best friend. She was my daughter's godmother. She was kind and generous and funny. The main thing I wanted to note was how much she adored her son Mark. She talked about him all the time. She was so so so proud of him. He was truly everything to her. I will always miss Judy. A great lady.
