Obituary for Charles H Jutras

Charles H. Jutras, 84, of Enfield, beloved husband of 64 years to Marion (Lamarre) Jutras, entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born in New York on December 16, 1933, the son to the late Henry and Lillian (Lacrosse) Jutras. Charles proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He later worked for Hamilton Standard for 38 years as an assembler. Charles was an avid bowler and won the title of Western Mass Champion for many years. He appeared 57 times on the Candlepin Bowling Show, and in 1991 he was inducted into the Candlepin Hall of Fame in Boston, MA. He was also an accomplished bass fisherman. In addition to his wife, Marion, Charles is survived by four sons, Chuck Jutras and his wife, Deborah of Windsor, Neil Jutras and his wife, Sharon of Enfield, Gary Jutras of Enfield, and Christopher Jutras of Enfield; two brothers, Henry Jutras of Georgia, and Robert Jutras and his wife, Doris of Dallas, TX; a sister, Rosemary Maynard of Springfield, MA; sixteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT 06082. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield, CT. Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001.
