Alice VonEisengrein (Cobb)
Alice VonEisengrein, 81, of Enfield entered into eternal rest at her home on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was born on November 16, 1936 in Windsor Locks where she lived for many years before moving to Suffield. Alice enjoyed gardening and bird watching, and was a member of Holy Family Church. She is survived by her children; Barbara Suzenski and her husband Paul of West Suffield, Arlene Popowich of Southwick, MA, Paul VonEiesengrein and his fiancée Marcia DeCola of Milford, Karl VonEisengrein and his wife Sally of Enfield, and Christine Lips and her husband David of Southwick, MA; her grandchildren, Rebecca and Kim Suzenski, Rachel and Faith Popowich, Morgan and Molly VonEisengrein, Matheu and Sara VonEisengrein, and David and Alison Lips; three great grandchildren; her brother, Thomas Cobb and his wife Charlene of Madison, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth VonEisengrein; her brother, Kenneth Cobb, and her sister, Anne Priest. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 12:00 p.m at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Please meet at church. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, 42 Spring St, Windsor Locks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick St, New York, NY 10014.
